DOWNLOAD USER MANUAL -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 24 Volt Standby Sump Pump with Battery Backup The ESP45 is a battery operated back-up sump pump kit. The kit includes a 24vDC (2400 GPH @ 10') sump pump and a 24v DC battery back-up power source control unit, capable of providing up to 18 hours of continuous run-time in the event of a power failure. Continuous run-time suggest that the pump operates continuously, when in operation, without turning off. In reality, the pump will turn off and on during operation, therefore, actual run-time will be greater than 18 hours This kit is designed to operate as a back-up to your primary sump pump and is not intended to replace or operate as your primary sump pump.

The Components The power source included with this kit senses when the power fails and automatically signals the back-up sump pump to begin operating when utility power fails. The back-up unit consists of a control unit, battery charger, audible alarm, battery box enclosure, and cabling required for battery connectivity. A 12v Battery will be required to operate the back-up kit.
The pump included with this kit comes with a magnetic reed float switch and the float switch is attached to the pump. As the water in the basin rises, the float will rise and a magnetic mechanism inside the float will the engage the pump switch to turn on the pump. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
